More Classroom Rules
I am pleased to have your child in my classroom this year. In order to guarantee your child and all of the students in "OUR" class the excellent climate they deserve and for the school year to be the best yet, I am utilizing the following rules in my classroom:
1. Be kind to all....No cruel teasing or bad language.
2. Have good manners...Raise your hand to speak, listen to others, say please and thank you.
3. Come prepared to work and learn...Be on time and have all necessary materials.
4. Respect your property and others...Take care of your things as well as others.
5. Keep your hands and feet to yourselves.
6. Respect all adults in the building.
7. No excessive talking.
Failure to follow these rules will lead to or results in getting a written behavior document. In most cases three warnings will be given before a written document is warranted. If your child brings home a behavior document you must sign the document and return it to school the VERY NEXT DAY or you will receive a telephone call from me to make sure that you have received the document. The document will still have to be signed and returned. If needed I will be calling you concerning your child's progress. Please feel free to call me at 447-4718 if you have any questions or concerns.
I have already discussed this plan with your child, but I would appreciate it if you would review it with him or her.
Each day the student remains on the green crayon, they will receive a tally mark on their chart. When they receive a magic number of tallies they will get to pick something from the treasure chest. (If you have anything for the Treasure Chest like pencils, stickers, scratch and sniff stickers, McDonald's Happy Meal Toys, etc. please send them to school).

The students will be informed of all the rules, rewards, and consequences, and I expect that they will follow them in a responsible and respectable manner.
